Loomis - MOST VALUABLE resource for drawing the figure!

Hey everyone,

When it comes to perfecting anatomy for animation and illustration, Andrew Loomis' books are known widely throughout the art community to be one of the best, most thorough jumping off points for studying the figure. His books are one of the places I started as well. Luckily for us, the pdfs of all his books are available online!

Here's a pdf of a great one, a staple for comic book artists, The Figure For All It's Worth:

The illustrations are a bit old fashioned, but don't let that deter you. There's a lot of super useful information, especially if you read the text as well as study and copy the pictures. Feel free to add any sketch studies from his books to your sketchbook thread; its a great way to grind and buff up your drawing skills.

all of his books are available on this website (fast-moving gif warning): https://www.alexhays.com/loomis/
