introduction!

hi! my name is lois but my friends call me lo, feel free to use either.
i never know how to format these things cutely so i'm just gonna list facts if that's chill!

i'm currently attending uni for drawing/painting, i minored in art history
when i was a kid i started drawing probably because of animals honestly! i've always been a big fan
tbh i knew i wanted to be an artist when i was about 9 years old i think!
i think it was because drawing felt like magic powers, you could make anything exist.
these days i draw a lot of figures, and i've studied anatomy some but i have a long ways to go
i'm really inspired by comic book artists / illustrators / animators
like amano yoshitaka, tanaka tatsuyuki, junji ito, kim jung gi
and a lot of art history too, especially religious art and some expressionism
buddhist art, hindu art, western art of gods and angels and saints, all inspire me!
i take a lot of inspiration from ball jointed dolls and cherub sculptures for my faces
i really have no medium preference and would like to try everything, really

uhhhh so non art related stuff....

✨ i'm a pisces and i'm 23
✨ i don't have a favorite color but i love rainbows/utilizing the entire spectrum
✨ i'm an emotional person but also tenacious so we'll see how that works out for me!
✨ a song i'm jamming out to right now is pedestrian at best by courtney barnett
✨ i like handheld games like pkmn, ac:nl, and some ps4 games
✨ my tumblrs are fairycocoon and 1000eyedangel
honestly not sure what else to say, i might add to this or feel free to ask if you want to know anything else?

actually i have huge preference for sandbox games! skyrim, fallout series, and no man's sky are some of my favorites. i'm honestly bad at branching out when it comes to ps4 games because i don't go through with ones i don't immediately love so... i'm open to suggestions too lol.

ahah i hate italian religious art cause is like really everywhere, but honestly is usually really well made and so much appreciable (expecially Madonna's statues), you made me a new point of view about it...
Can wait for firsts challenges or group experiences
