uhhhh hey!

Haha I feel a bit shy being the first one to post in this thread.. also I'm a bit rubbish at using forums
I'm Maddie (nursemiffy on tumblr). I'm nearly 23 and live in South England. I've just started university and I am studying Fine Art. I've been drawing ever since I can remember however I didn't start to develop my techniques and style until fairly recently so I guess around 18. It was around that point I decided to pursue art. My art has improved drastically within the past couple of years though.
My main mediums are traditional painting and embroidery! But this is all subject to change since I've just started my degree. I also sometimes do digital painting. I enjoy using lots of colour and surreal imagery. I take inspiration from anywhere I can find it really - nature, music, experiences, fashion, old and new art, anime and video games just to sum it up really!

Aw thank you for being the first! I'm excited to see your art! I'm so glad you mentioned embroidery, I've been doing some off and on now, it'll be fun to see needlework here too

Nice to meet you Maddie! since i follow your tumblr for a while i can say that i already am a fan of your art, i find it very dreamy soft and a bit naif, all great characteristic in my artistic vision, so i'm really happy to be able to know you and your artistic vision better ^-^
